Geophysical measurements are a vital part of environmental characterization and provide much higher spatial-sampling than wells and borings alone.

 

Applications include:

• Locating man-made subsurface structures such as underground storage tanks (USTs), septic tanks, and debris.

• Mapping inorganic contaminant plumes.

• Mapping geologic features that control contaminant migration.

• Assessing the lateral and vertical extents of landfills and buried debris.
